uhhh.. Yeah

I have SO much to say, and SO many pictures to post. The problem is that I kinda, sorta filled up the C drive on my computer, so I need to dump a LOT of pictures off of it. In the meantime, I really do have a lot to put up on here.

Small updates:

Tim's back in school (YAY). So far, so good. He's also qualified for a new watch that keeps him on watch for 24 hours. So that's fun. LOL He had his first 24 hour one on Monday, it wasn't too bad.. He was tired on Tuesday, but he was determined to make sure he was here for the girls and I. Once they went to bed, and he finished up his school work for the night, we both headed to bed. Good thing I didn't sleep well the night before too huh? :P

Kadie is in third grade and loving it. She has an amazing teacher this year, and she's really blossoming. She's made several new friends - including a new best friend. Even better, she's not being as shy. It's really great to see her coming out of her shell like this. I couldn't be any happier.

Molly is a typical 3 year old now. She has attitude, explores, and overall, just has fun. She's in her first class - she's taking tap lessons, and most weeks, absolutely loves it.

As for me? I may have bitten off more than I can chew. I'm usually a chicken running around with my head cut off, but honestly, I wouldn't have it any other way. I love all the volunteer work I'm doing, and Tim and I keep joking about how it's a full time job. I have a few other things up my sleeve that I hope pan out in the near future, but in the mean time, I'm enjoying what I have right now. :)

That's about it on this side of the globe! How are y'all faring over there?

School's Back

Molly playing with her puppy.

And can I just say WOO HOO?? I love the start of the school year - and not for the obvious reasons. It means i get back to my life.. It means I get to visit with my friend(s) again. It means we're that much closer to Halloween! LOL
Working on her first 3rd grade assignment.

There are bad parts though - I have to get up early again. I'm SO not loving that part.. Neither is my lack of sleep skills. Tim's ship has pulled back in, which means he's back to work. Not loving that so much either. (Oh how I miss the days of little-to-no work day.. *sigh* In the meantime, girl scouts is picking up. I still have FRG for another few months. I'm planning on getting involved in her school this year.. Annnddd.. I started selling scentsy!!

Well, more like I figured I was spending enough on it that I might as well make some money off of it right? :) I'm waiting on base approval to start selling over here, but in the meantime, I am selling online, and for any friends and family (and anyone else) back home, please LMK if you need anything from them or just want to learn more about it!

In the meantime, we're just recovering from our first (and halfway through the second) week of school.

Kadie and I during girls' night in!

Sick

I promise we're still around.. Tim and I have just been rather sick for the past few days.. :P

Games

It's a black flag day today.. We hit that status before 8:30 this morning. Nice. It's too hot for the girls to go outside and play, and really, it's just too hot to do much of anything.. So, instead we thank our lucky stars that we have a/c and we stay inside to play. Molly is playing Lego Pirates with Tim, it's pretty cute. :)

He wasn't happy I was taking pictures that involved him..

Sea Paradise

So we had a busy week this week. For one, we had lots of little tremors late night. Those are lots of fun. LOL At least we've gotten fairly used to them, so it's just an "Oh, we're shaking" instead of an "AAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!" moment.

Oh and just a warning, this post is going to be ladled with pictures..

We went to Sea Paradise this week.. We ABSOLUTELY loved it!! It was a blast, and I really can't wait to go again when it won't be so crowded! There were some amazing and innovative aspects to the aquarium, and I loved the twists to it.

The outside looked pretty dead, but inside the aquariums, it was REALLY busy. Of course, keep in mind, the Japanese are on vacation this month, so anywhere we could go that is touristy would be pretty busy.

Still.. Some are still able to just hang out.. :)

There is an anime that is about a mermaid and I'm guessing, her friend that is a sea star. They were all over several of the displays in the Aqua Museum. Molly and Kadie HAD to take pictures with her though.

I LOVED that there was an aquarium for dolphins. This one was a tube type walkway, and there was a family swimming above us. There was also a dolphin attacking a fish in there.. In front of several children - it was pretty entertaining. LOL

I'd never seen a show using Belugas.. I thought it was pretty darn awesome.

Another first.. I'd never seen a whale shark either. They were apart of the show too. LOL

One of the innovations I loved about Sea Paradise. They have what they call an open aquarium. You are given the opportunity to pet several different sea creatures. There's even a show where you can pet sea lions and penguins after, and then take a picture with them.

The other really neat thing about the open aquarium - they have a wading pool that. It doubles as a "coral reef" of sorts. There ARE fish in there, the bottom is rough like coral would be too. They provide these goggle type things that you put into the water to see down in. (Kadie's in the sand area here, the pool got too deep for her to wear her clothes in). On the other side is a touch pool similar to what you see at say Sea World in the States.

The other awesomeness of Sea Paradise? There are rides. They are fun. Tim's on both of these in the pictures.. :) I didn't go on the ride in the second picture, but I did go on the roller coaster - it was FUN!!!

Overall, we absolutely LOVED Sea Paradise. I really just wish it was a little less crowded because we didn't get to do everything we wanted to. It just means we'll be back for another trip!!!

Storm Watch.. July Edition..

Pretty purple skys.. Well, I really don't know if that should be pretty..
SooOOooo... We have this HUUUGGEEEEE typhoons that come through here.. ALLLLL Summer long.. EVERY year.. Yeah. Sure. LOL (please note the sarcasm).  Since we moved here.. I've only ever seen ONE real semi-decent storm (at least a storm where I actually saw lightening bolts), and that was the day I moved into our house out in town.. Well, that was until today. This storm was SERIOUSLY active, and we weren't even warned about it. While it really didn't have much more than a breeze, this storm was MUCH worse than any "typhoon" I've seen here. We had lightening bolts touching down all over the place, one that touched down here close enough that I felt the hairs stand up on me.. Did I get a picture of said bolts? No. I kind of got one, and Tim got a pretty great shot of one.. But hey, I got to see some amazing stuff, and boy was the sky a pretty purple tonight!!

Keep in mind that with EVERY one of the shots on this post, it was pitch black until the lightening flashed!

Tim's awesome shot of the lightening!

Another shot of his.. I love how you can see where the flash is...

The ONLY shot I caught a bolt it.. And you can barely see it *cry*
PS - now that I've said we don't ever get any cool storms, there is a storm brewing in the pacific right now. Who wants to bet that since I said typhoons never REALLY hit us, it'll hit us now?? BAD BLOGGER!!!! BAD!!!

Molly..

Happy Birthday to my baby girl! She's officially three, and while she hasn't had her party yet, we had a mini one for her at home tonight! She got her favorite meal (pizza), followed by birthday cake ice cream for dessert! She was pretty darn happy to blow the candles out! Up next? The movie she picked out today (Dragon Tales) under her new Tiana blanket! I think she had a good birthday! :)

Molly says "BYE!!!"

Training

Molly working with him.
Well... Tim loves his dog.. He runs around with him, and he spends a good chunk of his time these days working on training him.. Here's the thing though - he's not the only one, Molly LOVES it too..

Puppy Hugs!!

Ok.. Daddy can help get Buster to shake!

Summer Nights

Four kids and their own pizza. Super kawaii!!!!! (and I didn't tell them to do that).
Just a quick post as I only have a minute in between movies. I love Summer nights. I love nights where the kids get to have friends sleep over.. (and their parents get a night to themselves).. I love watching kids in a BIG pizza party, and love that they're now having a movie night!

All ready for a sleepover!

ER Trip

A lot of you already know (you know, the two 12 people who read this blog.. lol), but last night, our Summer took a little bit of an unexpected turn. The girls were already laying down, Tim and I were both feeling a bit under the weather, so we headed to bed too. We were in our room when we heard a blood curdling "DADDY!!!!!!" coming from Molly. Tim ran out there, and by time I got out there, there was blood all over Molly's feet. Kadie was standing next to her door, crying and saying she didn't mean too. Tim took a look at her foot and told Kadie to get dressed, and then told me she needed to get to the ER. Thank GOD we live on base BTW. :)

We took her in, and Molly is fine. She was SUCH a trooper in there last night. Hysterical for about the first hour, but what do you expect? She was in a LOT of pain. About the time where she started to calm down from the pain and being scared of being in the hospital, she actually SAW her foot, and it started all over again. She had 3 x-rays of her toe taken, and she did fabulous during x-rays, not moving her foot so she wouldn't have to have more pictures taken. You could tell how afraid of the equipment she was, but she continued to just push through all of it.

We got back from the x-rays, and the doctors came to see her. They determined before the x-rays even came back that her toe didn't look broken. (Tim and I both thought it was - it was REALLY curved inward.. I learned something new about my daughter last night - the same toe on each foot curves in like that). They did wait for the x-rays to be absolutely certain though. After that, they said they were going to send the corpsman back in to clean up her feet.  They COULD give her some injections to numb up the toe while they did that, but the injections would be more painful (and traumatizing) than just making her grin and bear it. So that's what we did, she didn't get pain meds while they cleaned up her foot. Talk about a trooper, she sat there and while she did cry and whimper, she just took it. We had our ipad with us, and she played with that. Tim said it was obvious that she was in a lot of pain while they were doing it, but she did her best to keep herself distracted. By the end of the night, we found out that her toe has a big laceration (it looks like about half the nail was ripped off), and is very bruised. They dressed it and then wrapped her whole foot up in an ace bandage that has to stay there for a few days. I told the doctor there was NO way she'd keep it on, and he said to try, but if it came off, considering her age, it came off. No harm, no fowl. Just to make sure to keep that foot clean. (so no backyard playing for her.. lol). Shockingly, while she HATED the dressing at first, she was distracted by the ipad, and has kept the dressing on. Last night, we called it a boo-boo sock and told her not to take it off because it's keeping her big boo boo from getting more boo boos, and she's been alright with it on ever since.
relaxing with Daddy this morning.

This morning, she's still kind of out of it. She's slowly coming out of her shell, but she's still baby'ing the foot. It'll probably be a day or so before she wants to put weight down on it, and honestly, I don't blame her one bit! I'm so proud of how she did in there - she was scared, but just kept on chugging through last night!

chilling out and playing Ipad!!

Buster

So most of you know, we adopted a dog last week - a jack russell terrier named Buster. He's a ball full of energy, and we absolutely love him!

In other news, Kadie is sleeping over at a friend's house tonight. She was SO excited to get asked (after they sat together at the theater to see Cars 2) that she started jumping up and down. In the meantime, we totally broke Molly's heart, and she cried for both Kadie AND Ashlynn the whole ride home. She's happy now though, so we're hoping she doesn't notice when they come to pick up Kadie's stuff for the night. :P

Tim may or may not be leaving tomorrow. That's really up in the air, and I'm REALLY annoyed to not know the answer to the question. BUT, that's Navy life, there's not much you can do about it. In the meantime, I'm enjoying whatever time they let me have my husband home with me. :) Right now? My first Chicago style deep dish in the oven.. I'll tell you later if it turns out.

Monday Blues

One of our last pictures before Tim left and we moved. :)

So this is me trying to get back into the swing of things. (hey look, two days in a row.. woot woot). Not too much happened around here today.. Mostly more unpacking.. Yay.. LOL We saw a friend this morning for some coffee, and that's about the most exciting part of the day! Today was kind of a boring one, but I did get a lot done.. It's a Monday blues kind of day, but you know, it's the last Monday of school! No pictures from today, but since I've haven't been around, I have loads to post. :)

Ok, so this is a chicken noodle salad thing that my friend gets from 7-11 here. Yeah, we eat 7-11 food - it's pretty tasty. Ha! Anyhoot, she brought two containers of it over here last week, I stole the second one, and I am now obsessed with this stuff. It's YUMMY!!!!

Living on base already has it's advantages. This was about a week or so ago, but I was watching a friend's daughter for her while she went to roller derby practice with the Yokosuka Sushi Rollers! The girls were playing outside, and decided to come in for popsicles, they weren't the only ones though, another friend of theirs followed in suit! Pretty soon, I had a house full of girls giggling along to whatever it was they were watching!

Well Then...

Well, who knew.. I was so determined to keep up with this, and I've totally fallen behind. We have had a lot going on in the past few months. After we got back from the States, Tim got word that HE was going back to San Diego for a school. The girls and I had planned on going with him, but due to circumstances, we were unable to go. Instead, the girls and I said goodbye to our little Japanese house, and moved on base!

That's pretty much where we are. Tim is in San Diego attending a school back there. He's had a chance to hang out with some friends and see both of our families. I really hope he gets to see more, but honestly, I'm a little jealous of everyone who's gotten to spend time with him. I miss my husband, and I just want him back home.

The girls and I are just getting everything settled in at our new house on base. We are in a townhouse, and I'm SO happy we chose to move back here. Everything is SO much more convenient - plus, we're saving SO much in just gas and tolls! LOL We are enjoying our location and our neighbors - I just need a little more time to unpack! :)

Molly enjoying her OWN room!
Last week, Kadie and I went out to Jogashima Island. Thank goodness for my amazing friends - one of them watched Molly all day for me while I went with Kadie. We basically took a nice little hike to some tidepools. The kids saw fish, crabs, and sea anemones - they were happy. Kadie was content with picking up shells to take home. LOL She was really happy that her best friend's class was there too, so she hung out with us all day. Overall, while it was hot, it ended up being a pretty awesome day.

Kadie and I on our way back to the bus.

That's it for now. I've got so much more to say, but considering I just got a carload full of more boxes to unpack, I have way too much to do already! Hopefully, I'll start keeping up with this again!

Wow

So I'd try to swear I wasn't ignoring this, but I kinda was.. LOL I still need to finish the whole earthquake thing.. As my friend said to me the other day - longest lunch ever.. ha! :)

News on our front.. The girls and I will be moving on base in just a week!! YAY! We've seen our new place and we love it! :)

We have a few things coming up, and I really need to start blogging again.. In the meantime.. Here's a picture from the girls playing earlier this afternoon..

One Month..

I realized late last night that I haven't updated this blog since just before the earthquake. This will probably be long, so I didn't start it last night.

A month ago, life was normal. We were getting ready for the Spring Festival, counting down until Tim came home, and just waiting on warm weather. Heck, I was taking pictures in my car of Sakura as the early blooming trees had already started. One month ago, we had everything to look forward to.

On March 11, 2011 at 2:46PM, everything changed. Only, I didn't  realize just HOW much it would change. That day was very routine. It was a pretty day.. Not warm, but not cold either; Winter was yielding to Spring. I woke up, got Kadie to school, Molly dressed, and headed to the base to meet up with a friend. We were ordering supplies for the Spring Festival booth. We were supposed to be selling baked potatoes, and we went through the commissary and decided on our potatoes. (Also praying they were the right size). We successfully got through everything we needed to do and headed home. I realized on the way home that we not only should pay rent (heck, I'd been walking around with $3,000 for several days), but that I should argue the gas bill. We did that, turns out, it was the right bill (I still think we had a leak that month). I stopped off at a post office and paid said bill. (while cringing at how much it was). We got back in the car, and I thought to myself about how much I loved that place, but how BADLY I wanted to live on base so I wouldn't have to deal with arguing about gas bills again. (lol). We went home, and I made lunch for Molly and I. Then everything changed. The weather took a turn for the worse, and it got very windy, and cold again. (Not all that surprising, that happens a lot where we live).

I made Molly a sandwich, closed the cabinet doors that I noticed were open, and sat down to eat some yogurt and granola. I took two bites and felt an earthquake. I started cracking up to myself - No. Japan had been getting larger sized earthquakes (6 somethings) all week, people on base talked about feeling them, I hadn't felt one. So jokingly, I posted on my facebook "hey, I'm feeling this one." I didn't think a thing about it.. Until it jolted. It was strong, but not horrible. I looked over at Molly, she was ok, so I started eating again. I realized it'd been a minute, and it was STILL shaking.. It jolted again. This time, Molly looked up from the movie she was watching, and gave me a look. Right after that momentary glance between us, the power went out. I walked over (calmly), and picked her up. It was shaking the entire time. I took her to the only place I could think of in our house that didn't have glass surrounding it - the entry way. We sat at the door, I had my hand on the door handle, ready to push us out, and it jolted yet again. This time the jolt wasn't instantaneous, and it LASTED. I looked up to see our bookcases swaying back and forth. I thought to myself "PLEASE don't implode.. Tim's coming home SOON, and I really don't want to clean up that mess." At this point, I had NO idea how strong the earthquake was. The bookcases swayed, the rocking chair was going nuts. The door in between the living space and bedrooms slammed shut. I started to realize this wasn't a small earthquake. It edged off a bit. I started to breathe a sigh of relief, and realized it was STILL shaking. It started to come on strong again, and this jolt lasted as well. At this point, I had NO idea how long it had been, but I looked up and started asking if was ever going to stop. (Ok, so really, I was screaming "ARE YOU GOING TO STOP ANYTIME SOON?!"). That's when Molly started to freak out. This jolt lasted a good minute or so. It FINALLY stopped, and I headed outside the same time I heard my neighbor. I grabbed my cell on the way out and looked at my facebook - 5 minutes had passed since I posted that I'd felt the earthquake. In total, the quake was about 4.5 (give or take) minutes long. By comparison, most earthquakes are under 30 seconds.

My neighbor and I were exclaiming over how long and big that one felt. He told me he'd been in the country for 10 years, and that was the worst one he'd ever felt! That he was holding onto his fish tank, and thank goodness he did, it would have fallen if he hadn't held on to it. I realized while we were sitting there chatting that we were moving again. That we had continued to move and stop constantly after that quake hit. I was also on facebook chatting with my Mom about the earthquake. She told me it was a 7 something first. Then moved it up to an 8.4.. Then an 8.6.. And it just kept moving up. I relayed this back to my neighbor. I tried to call the friend I'd been with earlier that day to make sure she was OK - cell signals were jammed. Thanks to my only land line being a VOIP, and no power, I couldn't call any other way. Tim was trying to get a hold of me at this point as well. I just didn't know it yet. For some odd reason, the 3G network stayed in place, and we were all able to contact family members through facebook - I have to say, thank GOD for facebook and facebook chat. I can't imagine what Tim went through until he knew he could talk to me on facebook. That unknown? I'm glad I wasn't in his shoes. I continued to chat with my Mom about what she was seeing on the news and what was happening where I was. I started chatting with Tim - he was really worried because he couldn't get through on any phone lines. I tried to get Molly to go back inside - she wouldn't. I FINALLY convinced her she was safe, and we went inside only to be hit by the first 7 something aftershock. Joy. Couldn't get her to go back in after that. Kadie came home, we hung out outside until I couldn't feel my fingers anymore. We headed back inside after that. Molly whined, but I convinced the girls to go outside on the deck and start putting things into a big bin I had just bought for our outdoor toys, etc. That was when I noticed that the water looked a little low..

(to be continued.. gotta stop for lunch).

Love

No matter what happens in life, I love this man... and that face. In a life style where nothing is really certain, and you never know how things will change day to day, that's the only thing I know I can count on: love. I know I love him with all my heart. I know I love my girls with all my heart. I can't imagine life without the three of them. Yeah, they drive me crazy, and yeah they can all be annoying at times, but they make everything worth it.

Cheer

dance to "I whip my hair back and forth"

I swear, that seems to be our lives lately. LOL But cheer is all that's been happening. Kadie's squad is not only learning a dance for Cheer Day coming up in two weeks, but is also learning basic stunts. It's ADORABLE to watch these girls climb and learn these things. Her coach wants her to climb, but as of now, she's afraid to. She's inching closer and closer to it though, so we'll see if she picks it up before the end of the season. She's also learning (or attempting) to do cartwheels at home - I'm SO proud!!!! :)

Pizza Night

So tonight was really movie night.. I kind of turned it into pizza night instead though. The girls DID watch a new movie - Megamind. Kadie says it's her new favorite, and she wants a Megamind cape (hint hint Nana). I, however, was talking to my Mom for pretty much the entire movie via skype, so I didn't exactly get to see it. I did, however, get pictures of the pizza making! They each had their own pizza to put toppings on. Kadie did everything but roll out the dough, Molly just didn't put sauce on hers (didn't trust her THAT much. LOL). They had a blast tonight, and I'm happy for it - we need more nights like this when Tim's gone!

Cheertastic

Kadie had another game today. She seemed to be happy the ENTIRE game - woo hoo! LOL After, we went over to watch our friend's daughter's game. Kadie and Molly were SO happy about it.. :)

Otherwise, not too much happening here. Lots to do next week, but at least, for now, it's calm for the next day.. LOL

Also, to my friend Debra, can you email me? I can't find your email anywhere, and you've disappeared!!!! I hope everything is alright!

100

100 posts!!

Last night we went to the Macy Gray concert on base.. Had an absolute blast! We were pretty much front row - we were second row at first, but people left and moved around, so we ended up in the front. It was pretty awesome. She sounds amazing, while it was in the gym, it was still a lot of fun!!! :) Thanks again Kristen for letting me know about it!

yeah, I don't take group pictures well... lol

I love my life

If there's one thing I've learned over the past 8 years, it's that I have the best husband that I could possibly have for me. He's my match in every way possible, and while he's not perfect, he's darn well near it. Thanks to him, the possibilities in our lives our endless, but I know one constant that will always remain no matter what. He's my rock, and while skype during his last deployment really felt like a stab because I was struggling so much, tonight was different. It was wonderful to watch him react to me and what I was saying - it was amazing to see the smile that I love so much.. The faces.. OMGOSH I missed the faces on someone else besides Molly! LOL :) So I just want to say thanks hun. :) Oh and don't kill me, but one of the smiles I love??

Oh yeah.. I love it. :) What can I say? I'm incredibly lucky.

Technology

Last week, a box my sister sent for Christmas FINALLY made it's way over here! YAY!!! So the girls and I go to open our Christmas presents!! I love today's technology, we skyped on two computers so that my Mom and sister could watch us.. It was fun, and I'm SO happy she stayed up to do it with us!!! Thanks for all the presents Lisa - seriously, those jeans are awesome - Kadie LOVES them!!!

In the meantime, Kadie also had her 100th day of school this year. In honor of it, her class made fruit loop necklaces with 100 fruit loops. She LOVED it. Didn't finish it, but loved it. So I let her finish it this morning.. Molly HAD to be in the picture too.. LOL

There really hasn't been much else going on here. We've been pretty busy, but nothing exciting. I played with fondant at our friends house on Saturday! That was lots of fun! hehehe

Tim's currently in Hong Kong, and well, I'm not really sure what he's doing today. Whatever it is, I hope he's having fun. :)

New Hair

So we've been incredibly busy over the past few days. On Wednesday, I ran my first FRG meeting, and we had a WONDERFUL turn out. I was pretty darn happy with it! LOL Thanks to the meeting (and a few other things) though, I was pretty much go, go, go from 4:30 AM until about 9 PM.

Then on Thursday, it was another go, go, go day. LOL I did, however, have an appointment to get my hair done! For those that aren't here, or don't talk to me religiously, you haven't had the pleasure of not only hearing my complain about my hair, but seeing that it was GREEN. Yeah. GREEN. And not a pretty, on purpose, shamrock green.. It look liked I'd stayed in the pool a few hours too long. EW! I ordered more dye over a month ago, it still isn't here. I also desperately needed a haircut - I realized it when I had a blonde moment in the shower and freaked out about whatever was touching the small of my back.. LOL So my friend called her hair dresser and made me set up an appointment. I am SO happy that she did that and I went! She gave me an awesome cut, and now my hair is (finally) BRIGHT pink!! WOO HOO! I love it, and everyone who knows me is telling me that it fits me very well. :) I can't wait until Tim gets home now so I can show him.. I also think I'm permanently sticking to pink.. LOL

In other news, Tim's just been hanging out in the PI.. I think he's ready to get out of there and move on to the next port. I don't blame him.. I WISH I was going to the next port!

Molly's potty training has been going REALLY well this week - she's made some huge strides.. I'm hoping it continues!

Kadie's class is doing their first research project for black history month. Her original person was AWFUL and completely inappropriate for her age. After getting really upset about it, we sent a note into school, and she got her person changed. She's now doing Rosa Parks, and she's VERY excited! I now need to find a simple jumper.. EEPS! Maybe I'll grab some plain fabric and make her one - that might be easier than trying to find one here.. LOL

That's about it here. I don't actually know, but it sure feels like we've gone back into rainy season.. I sure hope so, I hated the dry cold we've been dealing with. However, we're kind of having a crazy wind/rain storm today, and it kept me up all night. I hope that this wind part dies down here soon! I definitely DON'T miss the wind! LOL

Only Molly..

Only my daughter would be as obsessed with tea as she is. She HAD to have tea with her breakfast this morning...

That's right, that's MOLLY'S tea mug...

In other news.. it snowed again last night. Pretty heavily too. Schools and buses were delayed 2 hours... Of course, these were the base things, NOT the Japanese.. The cars are going along like normal. According to CFAY though, the Yoko-Yoko toll road required chains and a speed limit of 15KMH.. For those unaware, that's REALLY slow, like having to hold your foot on the break the entire time to make sure you don't go too fast. Most of the snow had melted off by this morning, but it was nice and covered last night!

Since everything was delayed and we didn't find out until AFTER Kadie was almost ready for school, she decided to help me clean up the living room/playroom, and then we went outside to play! (all while Molly slept).

Molly woke up before Kadie left for school, so while we were waiting for the bus, the girls goofed off.. :)

As always, there are PLENTY of more pictures on FB!! Even a video of it snowing (I took it so Tim could at least kind of see what was going on here.. LOL). I hope you all have a Happy Valentine's Day in the States!
